'The Heat' scores high

The Heat, starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, definitely scores high, in fact, it might be the top comedy of the summer! Bullock and McCarthy star as two cops, one from New York and one from Boston. On the surface, they're like oil and water. Mullins (McCarthy) is a tough fighting girl whom all of her co-workers believe is insane, including her boss. While every second word out of her mouth is either "f--k" or "s--t", her fierce personality makes you laugh regardless. Ashburn (Bullock) is the tightly wound genius who can easily get into a criminal's mind, but she's single and lonely. Together, they become "the heat" and find fun in their conflicting personalities. Bullock's impeccable comedic skills allow her to keep a straight face during McCarthy's laugh-out-loud rants, which adds to their undeniable screen chemistry.
